Karen Sue Eberly

Karen Sue Conley Eberly, 68, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home.

She was born on December 31, 1957, and was a daughter of the late Sherman F. Conley, Sr. and Vada (Cullers) and Jim Bible, who survive.

Karen was a devoted homemaker, providing a caring and nurturing home to her family.

Karen was united in marriage for over 48 years to Marion "Buddy" Eberly, who survives.

Karen is survived by two children, Heather (Chacha Mahiri) Eberly, and Maggie (Thomas Mason) Eberly; three brothers, Sherman Conley, Jr, Curtis (Debbie) Conley, and Kevin Conley; a grandson, Julian Mahiri; step-mother, Lydia Conley; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Sam.

Friends and family may visit Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater anytime between Wednesday, March 4, 2026, and Friday, March 6, 2026, to sign the guest book and pay their respects.

A memorial service celebrating Karen's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Dayton Mennonite Church, with Pastor Micah Heatwole officiating. Burial will be private.
