Karen Elaine (Senger) Williams

December 6, 1963 - October 16, 2024

Karen Elaine (Senger) Williams, 60, wife of Timothy Lee “Tim” Williams, of Swoope, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Williams was born in South Hill, Virginia on December 6, 1963, a daughter of Clyde Edward Senger and Eloise (Lunsford) Senger.
Karen was a devoted child of God, saved at the age of eight, and beloved member of Faith Baptist Church, where she played the piano, previously served as treasurer, and taught Sunday school. Though she worked as a bookkeeper at Diagnostech, she primarily identified as a homemaker. Passionate about cooking and maintaining her beautiful yard and home, Karen homeschooled her children, embodying the spirit of a "Proverbs 31 woman." In addition to her many roles, Karen was a talented pianist who not only taught others but also enjoyed writing her own songs, sharing her love for music with those around her.
Surviving, in addition to her parents and husband of 36 years, are their two sons, Marc A. Williams and his wife, Brittany of Churchville and Brian L. Williams and his wife, Noel of Rossville, Georgia; a special nephew that she loved like a son, Bruce S. Williams and his wife, Julie of Churchville; five grandchildren, Ashton, Jadon, Malachi, Anslee, and Adalee Williams; a brother, Edward P. Senger and his wife, Melissa of Chester, Virginia; and a sister, Peggy S. Vaughan and her husband Charles D. of Crewe, Virginia.
“Her children arise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praiseth her.” (Proverbs 31:28)
