Judith Ann (Powell) Robertson

Judith Ann (Powell) Robertson, 82, widow of Mitchell McElwee Robertson, Jr., of Staunton, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Brookdale of Staunton.
Mrs. Robertson was born in Churchville, Virginia on December 8, 1943, a daughter of the late John Richard Powell and Mary Elsabeth (Price) Powell.
Judith was a devoted member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Third Presbyterian Church, and Staunton Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Her faith and love for music were central to her life, and she found great joy in singing as a member of the “Staunton Choral Society” and the “Happy Notes”. She especially cherished her church family and the fellowship it brought her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by a sister, Genoah Fox.
Surviving, are two daughters, Terri Bollinger and Michelle Swortzel (Danny); a brother, Richard Eugene Powell (Brenda); a sister-in-law, Brenda Law (Ben); and grandchildren, Ryne Bollinger, Jess Bollinger, and Andrew Swortzel (Kylee). 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend William “Bill” Trice and Pastor Ethan Allison. 
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
