Joseph Cole Cimino
Joseph Cole Cimino, 71, husband of Lynne Marie Cimino, of Staunton, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Cimino was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 12, 1952, a son of the late Frank and Rosemary (Cole) Cimino.
Joseph loved the Lord and proudly served his country for 9 years in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, reading, was an avid coin collector and was a lifelong member of the NRA.
Mr. Cimino was preceded in death by brothers, Terry Kelly and Ernie Henemyre and a brother in-law, Bob Clevenger.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 51 years, are his children, Andrew Cimino and his wife Melody and Rachel Stuples and her husband Marty; two grandchildren, Aubrey Cimino and Martin Stuples; three sisters, Judith Butterfield and her husband, Gary, Julia Clevenger, and Joanna Galvin and her husband, Mark; numerous nieces and nephews; Special friends, Mike and Kathy Kostura; Biological family he found later in life includes his father, Willie Kelly; brothers, Lonnie and William Kelly; a sister, Donna Hamp and her husband, Dennis; his mother, Nanina Henemyre; sisters, Ethel Shade, Maryann Gordner; and brothers, Frank Henemyre, and Jack Henemyre; and nephew, Bill Updegraff.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Barry Creasy.
Burial will follow in the Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
