Jack L. Dull
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jack L. Dull, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at his residence in Waynesboro, Virginia.
He leaves behind a daughter, Suzie Dull, her husband Mike Miller, and grandson Jacob Miller, who were the shining lights of his life. He will also be missed by his dear sister, Betty Dull, brother Claude āJitterā Dull and his wife Sandy; brother-in-law Randy Swisher and nieces Ginny Pultz, husband Chris and children Emma and Noah; Mandy Clements, husband Rob and children Thomas and Evan.
Born on April 18, 1947, in Staunton, Virginia, Jack was a proud son of the Shenandoah Valley. Throughout his life, he exemplified a deep sense of dedication and craftsmanship, particularly in the field of electrical work. As a Master Electrician for over four decades, Jack was a true wizard, known for his unparalleled skill and precision.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jack was an enthusiast of the extraordinary. His heart beat with the rhythm of carnivals, fairs, and fireworks. He and his father illuminated the night sky with spectacular displays that became a hallmark of the 4th of July celebrations in Staunton. Their collaborative efforts were a source of pride for their family and the entire community.
In the tapestry of his life, Jack wove many cherished friendships. Among those who will forever hold him close are Joel Spencer, Dan and Missy Moody, Essen Daley, and the entire Tabernacle Presbyterian Church family. Their lives were enriched by his presence, and his memory will forever be a guiding light.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held on October 7, 2023Ā from 2:00 ā 5:00pm at the Inn at Meadowcroft.
In lieu of flowers, his grandson Jacob has requested that donations be made in his grandad's name to the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center atĀ www.svasc.net/donate/.
Jack L. Dull will be remembered as a man of ingenuity, a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched. His spirit will continue to inspire, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of the heavens.
