Harold Kelley Wigfield
POWHATAN, VA - Harold Kelley Wigfield, 88, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
Mr. Wigfield was born on September 14, 1936 in Allegany County, Md. and was the son of the late Pastor Ira “Kelley” and Camella “Grace” Wigfield. Retired as a District Claim Agent for the Norfolk Southern Railroad, Harold was passionate about his service in the 82nd Airborne, his woodworking skills and the love he expressed for his wife Toby, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A former member of Memorial Baptist Church, Staunton, Va., after moving to Powhatan County he became a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Midlothian, Va. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leon M. Wigfield and his son, R. Kelley Wigfield.
Surviving are his wife Toby Gail (Webb) Wigfield; his daughter, Debbie Nellis and husband Curt; son Donald Wigfield and wife Brenda; six grandchildren, Heather Ultsch, Shelley Davis, Melvin Wigfield, Gregory Wigfield, Courtney Trainham and James Kelley Wigfield; and six great-grandchildren, Clementine Ultsch, Patrick Wigfield, Hanna Wigfield, Kinley Trainham, Gabriella Wigfield and Madeline Wigfield.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 10 am Monday, March 24, 2025 in Green Hill Cemetery, Churchville, Va., officiated by Pastor Todd Bradbury.
