Harold Bruce Campbell

Harold Bruce Campbell, 93, of Nellysford, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.  
Mr. Campbell was born in Nelson County, Virginia on December 18, 1932, son of the late John Clarence Campbell and Pearl (Smith) Campbell Quick.
Harold graduated from Rockfish Valley High School and went on to build a long career with DuPont, retiring as a supervisor in 1987. He was a devoted member of Beech Grove Christian Church. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and later found great pleasure in woodworking—building furniture—and tending to his garden.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife of 74 years, Dorothy Quick Campbell; and his children, Deborah Armistead (Dudley), Kathy Tucker, (Lowrie) and Mike Campbell. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Lowrie Tucker (Jillian) and their children Walter and Claire, Daniel Tucker and his children, Hayden and Bowen, Kassie Tucker (Rich) and their children Oscar, Fionia and Leo, Keller Armistead, David Armistead (Mandy) and his son, David. He will be missed by his dear friend, Tom Leslie.  He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by his two infant sons, Harold Bruce Campbell, Jr. and Michael Wayne Campbell.
He was the youngest of five boys Delmas (Louise), Maxie (Eileen), Basil (Dot), Elwood (Doris).
A service to honor his life will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Beech Grove Christian Church, 1207 Beech Grove Road, Roseland, VA 22967. 
The family will receive friends following the service.
Interment will be set later due to conditions at the cemetery.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cemetery Fund, C/O Beech Grove Christian Church, 1207 Beech Grove Road, Roseland, VA 22967.
