Geraldine Devoe

Geraldine “Geri” Hewitt DeVoe, 83, of Waynesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born June 3, 1941 in Augusta County, daughter of the late Thurman Hewitt and Shirley Huffman Hewitt.

Geri was a retired beautician and a member of Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Skip DeVoe.

Survivors include her two sons, Tony DeVoe and Jay DeVoe, both of Waynesboro; one granddaughter, one grandson and four great-grandchildren.

Geri's caregivers were Betty Cox and Birch Gardens Assisted Living.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery for the service.

Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, Fishersville, is serving the family.
