Franklin "Eddie" Edward Roadcap

Franklin Edward “Eddie” Roadcap, 78, widower of Sharon Linell (Thorn) Roadcap, formerly of Keezletown Road, Weyers Cave, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 
Mr. Roadcap was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on July 9, 1946, son of the late Vernon Edward Roadcap and Marie Irene (Smallwood) Roadcap.
Eddie retired from Rocco Distribution as an equipment operator and was a member of Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and being outdoors. 
In addition to his parents and his wife of forty-two years, Mr. Roadcap was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Roadcap.
Surviving, are two daughters, Gina (Roadcap) Sheets and her husband, Johnny of Fort Defiance, and Britany Roadcap of Staunton; a son, Jerry Roadcap of Grottoes; five grandchildren, Ashley Wampler (Matt), Steven Stickley (Mary), Eric Stickley (Jeanell), Tristin Roadcap, and Leah Lamp; and five great-grandchildren, Olivia Wampler, Addison Stickley, Tucker Stickley, Coraline Wampler, and Willow Stickley.
Per Mr. Roadcap’s request there will be no public services. 
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
