Frances Marie (Davis) Allred
Frances Marie (Davis) Allred, 86, husband of Bobby Vance Allred, formerly of Rainbow Drive, Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville, Virginia.
Mrs. Allred was born in Iaeger, West Virginia on March 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Samuel Claude Davis and Hattie (Lowe) Davis.
Frances was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and retired as charge nurse of Oak Hill Nursing Home. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, ocean fishing and being a mom.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allred was preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Oxley, Helen Anderson, and Claudine McAllister; and a brother, Samuel C. “Sammy” Davis.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 64 years, are two sons, Wesley D. Allred and his wife, Kelly Harman Allred of Grottoes and Michael Scott Allred and his wife, Susan C. of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Lisa C. Reilly and her husband, John of Staunton; seven grandchildren, Austin, Hagen, Ashland, Camryn, and Ainslie Allred and Joseph and Benjamin Reilly; and a brother, Seth Thomas, Sr. of Waynesboro.
At her request, there will be no services.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

The family would like to express a sincere “Thank you” to the staff at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab and Hospice staff for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Allred.
