Evelyn Lambert Knight

Evelyn Knight, 86, of Bridgewater, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at her home.

She was born on February 9, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Edna (Kerns) Lambert.

Evelyn was a member of the Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene.

Evelyn was united in marriage to Jesse B. Knight, who preceded her in death.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Jessie Wayne (Sharon) Knight, Kathy (Bradley) Dahmer, Sarah (Michael) Myers, Barbara (Robert) Myers, Loria (Freddie) Myers, Arnold (Crystal) Knight, and Mark (Betty) Knight; brothers, Alvin Lambert, Calvin Lambert, Wilbert Lambert; sisters, Gertie Newman, Brenda Miller; thirty-four grandchildren, eighty-one great-grandchildren, and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters, Anita Harper, and Vickie Hartman; siblings, Corine Custer, Josephine Whetzel, Marian Knight, Joseph Lambert, Jr., Garry Lambert, Clyde Lambert, and Robert Lambert.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A service celebrating Evelyn's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 19th, at Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Billy Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Sangerville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
