Elizabeth "Libby" Ann (Warren) Nutty

Elizabeth Ann “Libby” (Warren) Nutty, widow of William Howard Nutty, Jr., of Blandford Street in Staunton, passed away on her 73rd birthday, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville. 
Mrs. Nutty was born in Staunton, Virginia, a daughter of the late Bobbie Lee Warren and Catherine Inez (Shumate) Warren. 
Libby retired in 2002 from Western State Hospital where she worked as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed cross stich and loved her animals, especially her cats. 
“Libby was truly the sweetest woman. Everyone that knew her, loved her.”
In addition to her husband of 50 years and her parents, Mrs. Nutty was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Cashatt and a brother, Robert Warren. 
Surviving, are two daughters, Janette Clayton and her husband, Shawn of Staunton and Sarah Nutty and her fiancé, Michael of Fishersville; two grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren Clayton; a sister, Beverly “Bo” Gibson and her husband, Jim of Montana; a sister-in-law, Tammy Warren; a brother-in-law, Drew Cashatt; a number of nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Nita Fisher and Jinx Coyner. 
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. Ty Cashatt. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
