Dylan Knowles

Dylan Corey Knowles, age 25, was tragically taken from us on Sunday, September 14, 2025, when his life was cut short by a drunk driver while riding his e-bike home after a family dinner.

Born on October 1, 1999, Dylan lived boldly, loved fiercely, and was unapologetically himself. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves since 2018, dedicating himself to duty and honor. But above all, his greatest pride and joy was his daughter, whom he loved with every piece of his heart and soul. She was his world, his purpose, and the light of his life.

He was known for his passion for comics, anime, and his love of knives and all things adventurous whether blowing stuff up or living life with an energy that could fill any room. His spirit was larger than life, and the impact he left behind will never be forgotten.

Dylan is preceded in death by his beloved Omi, GranGran, and PawPaw. He is survived by his parents, Jessie Justina Knowles and Thomas Knowles; his beloved daughter, Paisley May; his stepdaughter, Adaline Lee; his brother, Logan Knowles and sister-in-law, Amanda; his sister, Christina “Cissie” Knowles and partner, Mary Stumps; and his oldest brother, Tommy Knowles. He also leaves behind nieces, Breia and Raven, who adored him deeply.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all who have reached out with messages, prayers, flowers, food, and donations. Your love and support have carried us through this devastating time. A special thank you goes to those who have contributed to his celebration of life.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00pm, Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Charlton and Groome Funeral, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, with Military Honors at 7pm. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor, remember, and celebrate the incredible life of Dylan Corey Knowles.
