Donna Rae (Snyder) Brown
Donna Rae (Snyder) Brown, 73, widow of Herman Robert Brown, Sr. of Waynesboro, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at her son’s residence.
Mrs. Brown was born on September 9, 1950 in Salem, Virginia, a daughter of the late Bobby Lee Snyder and Janice (Adams) Snyder.
Donna enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like: birdwatching, a scenic view, and a warm cup of coffee. Her greatest joy was found in her role as a loving mother and grandmother, sharing her wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love. Donna embodied warmth and kindness, touching the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Surviving is a daughter, Debra E. Mountcastle of Salem; a son Herman R. Brown, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, Kelsey Elaine Farrar and her husband Matthew Seaton Farrar, a grandson Zachary Thomas Brown, and a great-grandson Jonah Seaton Farrar. Her brother, Barry Snyder of Roanoke. Sisters, Vickie Turner of Staunton, and Mary Dudley of Roanoke, also survive.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements. At her request, there will be no service.
