Cleaston Wayne Strother
Cleaston Wayne Strother, 65, of Mount Solon, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at his home.
He was born on July 14, 1959, and was a son of Shirley L. Strother of Mt. Solon.
Cleaston worked on a farm for Donald Michael for 25 years.
In addition to his mother, Cleaston is survived by a four children, Erica Whetzel, Cleaston Strother Jr., Wes Strother, and Aaron Strother; brother, Gerald Strother; sisters, Missy (Tim) Hall, Pam Strother, Dana (David) Kiracofe, and Lucinda (Conley) Harper; grandchildren, Tiara Whetzel, Trevon Whetzel, Tytriece Pediford, Nekahi Strother, Kira Strother, Eli Strother, Jaylee Strother, Kade Strother, Jayden Esparza; great-grandchildren, Tayveon Whetzel, and Kenara Layman; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Strother, grandmother, Carrie Strother, and several uncles and aunts.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater. A funeral service will follow with Pastors Gerald Blair, Eric Strother, Eicky B. Woodson, Jr. and Paul Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood-Ames Cemetery.
