Charlotte Painter

Charlotte Ann Lowe Painter, 81, of Stuart Draft, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 25, 1942, a daughter of the late John Herbert Lowe, Sr. and Mary Frances Patterson Lowe.

Charlotte graduated from Wilson Memorial High School. She worked as a factory worker with G.E. until her retirement in 1992 after 28 years of service. Charlotte was a member of Sherando Community Church. She loved flowers, doing yard work, and spending time with son, Dustin and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Mack Painter; daughters, Robin Dale Rodriguez and Lisa Renee Painter; sons, Jeffrey Todd Painter and Eddie Mack Painter, Jr.; brother, Johnny Lowe.

Survivors include her son, Dustin Painter; sisters, Jackie Bingler and Debbie Mize; nephew, David Zane Mize, Jr., and wife, Kim; niece, Kellie Mize; as well as extended family and friends.

All services will be held privately.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Legacy Hospice and to Dr. Paphitis and the nursing staff of UVA Cancer Center of Augusta for their loving care of Charlotte and her family.
