Charlotte Nancy Miller Harvey

Charlotte Nancy Miller Harvey, 95, of Bridgewater, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Blue Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation in Harrisonburg.

She was born on May 8, 1929 and was a daughter of the late Simon M. and Effie Miller.

Charlotte had worked at Celenese, Metro Pants, White Swan, and Marshalls. She was a member of the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. She was active in the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and the Myers-Hodges VFW Post #8644 Ladies Auxillary.

Charlotte was united in marriage on February 22, 1951 to Murray Wilson Harvey who preceded her in death on November 27, 2019.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Dale Harvey and Pam, of Dayton, Fred Harvey and Shelby, Bruce Harvey and Lisa; grandson, Cord Harvey; step-granddaughter, Alexis Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lloyd Miller, Earl Miller, Hubert Miller, Jacob Miller, and Simon "Si" Miller, Jr. and her sisters, Ola Sheets, Janet Hoke, and Dorothy Dellinger.

A service celebrating Charlotte's life will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel with Pastor Jennifer Scarr officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary or the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren.
