Charles Washington Barrick, III, 85, of Strasburg, Passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at his home in Strasburg.
Ellen Fry Barrick, 83, of Strasburg, VA passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mr. Barrick was born in Richmond, VA on January 10, 1939, a son of the late Charles Washington Barrick, II and the late Mary Catherine Dellinger Barrick. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and most recently worked as a produce clerk at Food Lion in Strasburg, VA.
Mrs. Barrick was born in Strasburg, VA on June 17, 1941, a daughter of the late James Milton and Lillian Martha Bowser Fry. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and retired from Mona Lisa where she worked as a hairdresser.
In addition to Mr. Barrick’s parents, Charles was preceded in death by two siblings Byrd Barrick and Patsy Barrick.
In addition to Mrs. Barrick’s, parents and husband, Ellen was preceded in death by her siblings Jean M. Snow, Elmer L. Fry, Bobby W. Fry, James M. Fry, Ray C. Fry, Marshall E. Fry, and Jeanette L. Fry Evans.
Survivors include Their children Diana Patton (Gregory) of Woodstock, VA, Teresa Wealthy (Jerry) of Edinburg, VA, and Vincent Barrick (Angela) of Strasburg, VA; their grandchildren Amber Goodpasture (Andrew) of Roanoke, VA, Cecily Grim (Cody Jones) of Maurertown, VA, Emily Kelley (Ryan) of Maurertown, VA, Trenten Barrick (Tiffany) of Bunker Hill, WV; Their great grandchildren Garrett Goodpasture and Kendall Kelley; Mr. Barrick’s Siblings Shelby Lineweaver, Jennie Ingles, and Peggy Clem; Mrs. Barrick’s siblings Thelma F. Shifflett, Clarence E. Fry, Martha A. Stone, Dorothy L. Henry, and Jerry W. Fry.
A graveside service for Mr. Barrick was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Keith Warren officiating.
