Brian Lee Grant

Brian Lee Grant, 53, of Grottoes, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at his home.

He was born on May 16, 1971 and was a son of the late Harold Dean Grant and Blanche (Miller) Shaw.

Brian had worked at Site One as a Truck Driver. He graduated from Great Mills High School in Lexington Park, Maryland.

He was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures-whether it was sipping a strong cup of coffee at sunrise, casting a line on a quiet lake, or sharing a laugh with his loved ones. He had a deep love for his family and a strong work ethic, taking pride in a job he truly enjoyed. Above all, Brian's heart belonged to his grandson, Xander, who brought him endless joy and pride. Brian's warmth, dedication, and passion for the things he loved will be remembered by all who knew him.

Brian is survived by two children, Elizabeth Grant and Kyle (Ashleigh) Grant; one brother, Tony (Tara) Grant; a grandson, Xander Grant; and former spouse, Heather Bates.

A service celebrating Brian's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service Grottoes Chapel with Chaplain Dave Kite officiating.
