Brenda Seiger Warren, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on May 1, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on April 8, 1939, in Harrisonburg, VA, Brenda was the daughter of the late Jerry Dennis Seiger and Hallie Foley Seiger.

Brenda graduated from Waynesboro High School and embarked on a fulfilling career. She served as an Assistant Manager at Shoney’s of Waynesboro, VA, and later co-owned the Long Meadow Cheese Shop in Fishersville, VA, where her warmth and dedication endeared her to colleagues and customers alike.

A devout member of Fishersville Baptist Church, Brenda found joy in singing in the choir and volunteering in the nursery alongside her beloved husband, Franklin D. Warren, whom she married on October 12, 1957.

In her leisure time, Brenda cherished moments with her family, capturing memories through photography and crafting cherished photo albums. She possessed a passion for collecting cookbooks and was an enthusiastic participant in bowling leagues during her younger years. Brenda also generously devoted her time to various community causes, including the American Heart Association, Mennonite relief sale, and Little League baseball.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Franklin; her children: Dennis Warren and his wife, Debbie of Summerville, SC, Timothy Warren of Waynesboro, VA, Kimberly Warren Pickett, and Leslie Warren Knick and her husband, Michael of Fishersville, VA. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Michael T. Fauber and his wife, Kali, Dylan M. Pickett, Christina W. Peterson and her husband, Justin Peterson, Matthew W. Knick, Alexander M. Knick, Tyler W. Knick, and great-grandchildren: Nolan Peterson, Tanner Peterson, Gannon Peterson, Luna Bella Fauber. She is also survived by her siblings: Jerrilyn MacDanel and her husband, Mark of Harrisonburg, VA, and Marcia Riggs and her husband, Dwight of Chesapeake, VA; as well as extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Brenda's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville. There will be a meet-the-family gathering immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
