Bobby Lee Tumer

Bobby Lee Tumer, Sr., 69, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

He was born on June 25, 1955, and was a son of the late Robert and Wanda Whitmer Tumer.

Bobby had worked as a Hot Shot for the US Forest service before joining the team at he Town of Bridgewater. He had served in the US Navy from 1973 to 1979, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Bobby was united in marriage first to Larue (Fitzgearld) Tumer, and later to Debbie (Jenkins) Tumer, both who preceded him in death.

Bobby is survived by two children, Mindy (Quentin) Tumer, and Bobby (Martha) Tumer, Jr.; a brother, Jody Tumer; sisters, Patricia (Carey) Newman, Beverly (Doug) Smith, Donna (Doug) McGuffin, and Amber Lambert; ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wives and parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Drema Tumer, Chaistity Tumer; and a granddaughter, Angel Tumer.

A memorial service celebrating Bobby's life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater, with Pastor Billy Curry officiating.
