Betty Lou Selmon

Betty Lou (Caricofe) Selmon, 79, of Crimora, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home.

She was born on May 26, 1945, and was a daughter of the late James Howard and Margie (Mitts) Caricofe.

Betty was united in marriage in 1965 to Aggie E. "Sonny" Selmon, who preceded her in death in 2018.

Betty is survived by three children, Margie Selmon, April Grogg and husband, Garry, and Nathan Selmon and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Abril Selmon and fiance, Trenton Hoffman, Brittany Shorter, Nathan Selmon, Jr., and Shelby O'Hanlon and husband, Dakota, great-grandchildren, Laniee, Bentley, and Brayden; sister-in-law, Polly Caricofe; brother-in-law, Marvin Parrish; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Antonio Selmon; brother, Carl Caricofe, Sr.; and sisters, Shirley Parrish, and Margaret Huffman.

No formal services are scheduled at this time.
