Betty Lou Martin Will
Betty Lou Martin Will, 88, of Bridgewater, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Bridgewater Home.
She was born on May 28, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Dallas and Caroline (Morris) Martin.
Betty was a farmer's wife. She worked hard on the farm with her family, enjoyed having a big garden, her roses, and looked forward to butchering day. She was a member of Mossy Creek Presbyterian Church.
Betty was united in marriage on February 25, 1956 to James Landis "Jamie" Will who preceded her in death on October 30, 2016.
Betty is survived by her children, Richard Allen Will & wife Joy, Joseph Martin Will & wife Beverly, and Timothy James Will; three granddaughters, Joanie Cummings & husband Josh, Jennifer Humes & husband J.R., and Charlotte Cooper & husband Timon; eight great grandchildren, Micah Cummings, Avery Cummings, Cole Cummings, Luke Cummings, Jamie Humes, Billy Humes, Lawrence Cooper and Lincoln Cooper; two sisters, Louise Randolph, and Margaret Ott. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A service celebrating Betty's life will be held on November 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mossy Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. James Smith officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to sign the register and pay their respects.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
