Bessie Morris Earhart

Bessie Morris Earhart, 61, of Afton, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Shenandoah House in Fishersville.
Bessie was born in Virginia to Robert William Morris and Alice Mae (Gunter) Morris on November 11, 1962. She worked as a CNA for 28 years, mainly for Charlottesville Health and Rehab.

In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Allen Earhart Jr.

Bessie is survived by her daughter, Brianna Bryant with husband Trystan of Greenville; siblings, Della Woody, John Morris Sr with wife Rachel, Darlene Burnett and Peggy Morris as well as nieces Brittany Morris, Stephanie Woodson, Jalyssa Morris, Jarryn Morris and Breanna Morris; and nephews Brodas Morris, Cody Morris, John Morris Jr. and Jonathan Morris. In addition, she is survived by great nieces and nephews, Joshua Woodson, Alice Woodson and Asiah Morris.

Bessie will be fondly remembered for her devoted love of family as well as someone who enjoyed walking, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating.
