Barbara Jean Knott

December 20, 1943 - December 24, 2024

Barbara Jean Knott, 81, of Mount Solon, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at her home.

She was born on December 20, 1943 and was a daughter of the late John Brummett and Minnie Alice (Martin) Eagle.

Barbara retired from Cargill (formerly Rocco). She was a lady with a strong faith and was a member of Mt. Olivet United Brethren Church for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. She love her family, having cookouts, and was active in raising numerous foster kids.

Barbara was united in marriage to William "Willie" Knott.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Jeffery Kennedy, Deborah Kennedy, Richard (Angela) Kennedy, Penny Conley, Kelly (Raymond) Varner, and Brianna (Nathan) Thacker; a brother, Larry (Florence) Brummett; a sisters, Linda (Truman) Lawless; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.
