Barbara Hartman Ayres

Barbara Hartman Ayres, 70, widow of Ronald Lee “Charlie” Ayres of Buena Vista, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at her residence. 
Mrs. Ayres was born in Virginia, on September 7, 1955 a daughter of the late Audra Kirby and special step-father, Wayne Kirby.
Barbara enjoyed the outdoors, holidays and spending time with her family. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, especially “the oldies”, and having a good time.
     Surviving is a daughter, Ronna and son-in-law Rob; a son, Brayton and daughter- in- law Carol; a son James and daughter-in-law Raven; a daughter Seleina and son-in-law Michael; a brother, Jimmy Hartman; three sisters, Linda Crockett, Pat Hubbard, and Donna Rosson; ten grandchildren, Cody, Robbie, Aidan, Addison, Alexander, Harper, Haven, Russell, McKenna, and Melanie; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Alaina; and her furry companion, “Luka.”
     A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Emerge Ministries, 822 Churchman’s Mill Road, Stuarts Draft by Pastor Debbie Conover.
     Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
