Barbara Ann Wilfong Sheets

Barbara Ann Wilfong Sheets, 91, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at White Birch Estates.

She was born on April 7, 1933 and was a daughter of the late John and Viola (Sharp) Wilfong.

Barbara had worked at Clayton Homes.

Barbara was united in marriage on January 28, 1950 to James William "Bud" Sheets who preceded her in death on May 28, 2010.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Mumaw & husband Dee, Patsy Knott, and Jamie Sheets & fiancee' Peggy James; grandchildren, Tabatha Maybaum & husband Walter, Daniel "Danny" Jordan & wife Kirsten, Ricky Sheets & wife Karen, Bonnie Sheets, Benji Sheets, Michelle Sheets, Chris Sheets, Josh Sheets, Charlie Thompson, and Angie Thompson; and special great grandchildren, Chase and Summer Shank and numerous other great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Sheets, Allen Sheets and Michael Sheets; granddaughter, Tammy Sheets; sisters, Nancy Ashton and Betty Wallace; half-brothers, Jimmy Wilfong and Charles Wilfong.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

Services will be private.
