Barbara Ann (Collins) McDorman

April 17, 1943 - October 4, 2024

Barbara Ann (Collins) McDorman, 81, widow of Robert A. McDorman, of Goshen, formally of Staunton, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. 
Mrs. McDorman was born in Staunton, Virginia, on April 17, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry Franklin Collins and Mary Bell (Gwin) Collins.
Barbara enjoyed working puzzles, playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. McDorman was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Marie (Piner) Vaughan; a granddaughter, Ashley Hudson; a great-grandson, Liam Hudson; a stepson, Robbie McDorman; two brothers, Jerry W. Collins and Raymond Collins; and a brother-in-law, Johnny A. Campbell. 
Surviving is a daughter, Malinda Youngman of Goshen; two sons, Mike Piner and his wife Krista of Staunton, and Rodney Piner and his wife Julie of Stuarts Draft; a stepdaughter, Tammy Lou of Harrisonburg; eleven grandchildren, Michael McLeese, McKenna Youngman, Tyler Youngman, Brooke Piner, Adam Carpenter, Jordan Brown, Tyler Brown, Brandon Piner, Desire Piner, Lydia Piner and C.J. Vaughan; five great-grandchildren, Taegan, Lillie, Quintin, Kayde, and Jaxlynn; a sister, Thelma (Collins) Campbell of Goshen; a brother, Skip Collins and his wife Linda of Waynesboro; a sister-in-law, Judy Collins of Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her residence.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by Reverend Jack Glover.
Active pallbearers will be Barbara’s two sons, Mike Piner and Rodney Piner, and Tyler Youngman, Adam Carpenter, C.J. Vaughan and Frank Brown.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942
