Audrey Faye (Mcglothlin) Ruley
Audrey Faye (McGlothlin) Ruley, 67, widow of Roger Lee Ruley, of Dry Branch Road in Churchville, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Ruley was born on March 16, 1957 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, a daughter of the late Ralph Wanell McGlothlin, Sr. and Betty Lou (Vess) McGlothlin.
Mrs. Ruley was a member of Jerusalem Chapel United Brethren Church. Audrey loved her family and church family. She “liked being on the go” and enjoyed art painting, attending supper club, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. She was also a coach with the Special Olympics Area 5.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Ruley was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Kay (McGlothlin) Kennedy and a brother, Ralph Wanell McGlothlin, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacey L. Ruley of Churchville and Jennifer F. Ruley of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Jeffrey F. McGlothlin, Sr. and his wife, Sandy of Millboro; four sisters, Gloria Bryan, Louise Wolfe, Patricia Lowry and her husband, Bill, and Kathy McGlothlin all of Millboro; special family, Tina and George Bartley and John and Lisa Toliver; special friends, Debbie Coleman and Pam Dearing; a number of nieces and nephews; and her pet furry friend “Bella”.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 in Millboro Christian Church Cemetery by Pastor Lloyd Via.
Active pallbearers will be Charlie Campbell, Travis McGlothlin, Danny Grimm, Cory Wolfe, William Wolfe, Jeffrey McGlothlin, Jr., Hunter Bartley and George Bartley.
It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to the Special Olympics of Virginia Area 5, P.O. Box 1381, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
