Audrey Carolyn Sipe

Audrey (Life) Sipe, 100, of Weyers Cave, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Bridgewater Retirement Home.

She was born on October 19, 1924, the daughter of George Dewey and Lorena D. (Watson) Life.

Audrey served as a public health nurse for Rockingham County for 24 years. She loved the Lord and was a member of Weyers Cave United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, volunteer work at Sunnyside and will be remembered for the love she showered on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Audrey was united in marriage on May 26, 1946 to S. Earl Sipe and they lovingly greeted each other every morning for over 77 years until his death on March 27, 2024.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Coulter and husband Daniel; grandsons, Dan Coulter and wife Sarah, Devin Coulter and wife Caroline and four much adored great-grandchildren, Audrey, Luke, Jude and Emma Coulter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by spouse, S. Earl Sipe; a sister, Ellen Hensley; three brothers, Mervil Life, Frank Life, and Donnie Life.

The family will receive friends at 3:30 p.m. at Weyers Cave United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service celebrating Audrey's life at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Amy Pannell officiating. A reception will follow the service.
