Aubree Dyer

Aubree Lee Dyer, 3, of Woodstock, VA, beloved daughter of Robbie and Rebecca Dyer, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, in the cuddling arms of her parents in her big girl bed at home. 

Aubree was born in Winchester, VA on September 4, 2020, the daughter of Robbie and Rebecca Dyer.  She was a shining light in our lives, bringing joy, love, and courage to all who knew her. Aubree graced this world with her sweet smile, beautiful bright blue eyes, and independent spirit. She captivated everyone with her irresistible charm and boundless energy. Her presence brought a profound peace and joy that touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to experience her laughter and feel her love. Aubree’s legacy of love, bravery, and strength will continue to inspire us as we carry her light with us every day.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Lester Gochenour, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Buckshot “Bubba” Dyer; maternal grandmother Joan Cubbage (Glen); Paternal grandparents Robert and Michelle Dyer, Jr.; her paternal great-grandparents Bengy and Jean Renner; Aubree’s special earth angel Nicki Judy; her beloved dogs Cash Buddy, Bae Bae, and Mickey along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A celebration of life service for Aubree will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Robert Funkhouser officiating.  

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Roc Solid Foundation, W. Military Hwy, Suite 100, Chesapeake, VA 23321.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude of thanks to the Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital, Dr. Adams and Children’s National Medical Center, Dr. Ladra, and Dr. Meany for the care and compassion they displayed during Aubree’s journey.
