Antonio "Tony" Dewayne Haliburton

Antonio Dewayne Haliburton, 57, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

He was born on November 28, 1966 and was a son of Lucretia Haliburton Cooper and the late Lavone Sampson.

Antonio loved people. He graduated from Turner Ashby High School and volunteered with the Bridgewater Fire Department. He had worked as a brick mason and enjoyed attending Valley Fitness several times a week.

Antonio is survived by his beloved children, Darren, Blaine, and Simone; beloved siblings, William Cooper, of PA and sister, Andrea Lewis, of Harrisonburg; special aunts, Vicki Haliburton and Denise Haliburton; uncle, Alfonso Mason; special cousins, Robert Haliburton, J.R. Haliburton, Kenneth Durrett, Michelle Durett, Carl Lee Durrett, Alfonso Mason, Jerome Mason, Desiree Mason, Trey Spinner, and Joshua Williams.

In addition to his father, Antonio was preceded in death by grandmother, Eva "Nanny" Mason; grandfather, Jackie Mason; aunts, Joesy Haliburton and Diane Poindexter.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
