Andrea Marshall

Andrea May Marshall, 68, of Staunton, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville. She was born on September 24, 1956, a daughter of the late Edward Varney and Patsy Anne Randall.

Andrea was the proprietor of the Little River Bed and Breakfast in Floyd, VA. She was a volunteer with the Jones Community Garden and the Augusta County Hospice. Andrea also was a jewelry maker with the Floyd Artist Association. Traveling, listening to music, reading, hiking, silversmithing, and being of service to others where a few of her favorite hobbies.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Lynn Spry of Virgilina, VA, and special friends: Paige Vinson, Lisa Appleton, Cielo Hodson, Leaf Myczack, and Susan Goranson. Of generous spirit ~ she was of service to those in need and she enjoyed a close circle of friends.

Andrea would want everyone to remember that “life doesn’t have to be prefect to be wonderful.”

Per Andrea’s wishes, there will be a graveside service for the community and friends in Pilot, VA, at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Andrea’s memory to your local Habitat for Humanity.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Shenandoah Hospice House and the team with Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah for their loving care of Andrea.
