Alfred Ray Campbell

Alfred Ray Campbell, 81, of Mt. Crawford, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.

He was born on May 3, 1943, and was a son of the late Lurty and Ruby (Thomas) Campbell.

Ray retired from Alcoa, and had served in the US Army.

Ray was united in marriage to Janet (Lambert) Campbell, who preceded him in death.

Ray is survived by three children, Eric (Robin) Campbell of Mount Crawford; Kevin Campbell of Grottoes, and Philip (Sarah) Campbell of Grottoes; sister-in-law, Angela (Dave) Lambert; daughter-in-law, Angie Michael; honorary son, Roger Bowman; eight grandchildren, Korbin, Bethany, Isaac, Zephaniah, Julia, Kalah, Logan, and Ethan; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Julius.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Campbell; three brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, May 11th, at Mount Pleasant Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
