Iris Louise (Stutzman) Hofecker

Iris Louise (Stutzman) Hofecker, 97, of Bridgewater, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

She was born on July 12, 1929, and was a daughter of Aubert and Louise (Witt) Stutzman.

Iris owned and operated a McCoys Mill Bed and Breakfast in Franklin, WV, for 32 years.

Iris was united in marriage on July 29, 1950, to Glen Hofecker, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 19, 2006.

Iris is survived by four children, Glen (Melinda) Hofecker, III, Louise Witt, Marie (Sonny) Meyerhoeffer, and Jayne (James) Sorel; six grandchildren, John (Stacey) Hofecker, Angela (Timothy) Seliman, Patricia Conn, Benjamin (Kate) Meyerhoeffer, Oriana (Hunter) Morton, Travis Cornett; great-grandchildren, Nisseem, Raphael, Mercy, John, Iris, Emmett.

In addition to her parents and spouse she was preceded in death by siblings, Wayne Stutzman, Barbara Powell, Deloris Pender, Sylvia Warren; grandson, Daniel Conn.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater, with Pastor Randy Cosner officiating.
