Gay Evelyn Balser

Gay Evelyn Balser, 72, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

She was born on April 21, 1954, and was a daughter of the late Willard and Rebecca (Peters) Graybill.

Gay is survived by three children, Charles "William" (Wendy) Fridley, Susan (Michael) Thompson, and Brittany Fridley; grandchildren, Tiffany (Tony) Robertson, Michael Thompson, Jonathan Fridley, Christopher Thompson, and Dakota (Heather) Thompson; great grandchildren, Madison (Wesley Thompson) Knott, Lucas Knott, Sophia Thompson, and Brodie Thompson; great great grandchild Elliana Thompson and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Dameron, Maybell Graybill; Ralph Graybill, and Nelson Graybill.

Friends may visit the Thompson home at 1255 George Walton's Rd Mount Solon VA 22843 on October 25, 2026 between 1 and 5 p.m..
