Donna Lane Saufley

Donna Lane Saufley, 76, of Mount Crawford, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

She was born on March 6, 1950, and was a daughter of the late McKendree Miller and Nena Violet (Hottinger) Saufley.

Donna retired from JMU, and was a member of St. Jacobs Spaders Lutheran Church.

Donna is survived by a sister, Betty Curry; great nephew Cody Shifflett and wife, Katelyn Moore, and their son, Ren Shiffett.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Nolan Saufley and Randy Saufley; niece Vonda Russell; nephew, Kent Curry.

A funeral service celebrating Donna's life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11 AM, at St. Jacob's (Spaders) Lutheran Church, with Rev. Don Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following services..
