STAUNTON – Geraldine Losh Marshall, 85, formerly of Staunton, passed away Friday (August 7, 2026) in Augusta Health.

Born December 18, 1940 in Augusta County, she was a daughter of the late Bryan and Glendola (Huffman) Losh.

Geraldine was employed by Genesco for over 25 years, and also worked for Westinghouse and American Safety Razor prior to retirement.

Geraldine loved to dance. She enjoyed frequent visits to Rack’em Smack’em Ribs in Verona, where she couldn’t sit still when the music started, and would dance till the music stopped.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Marshall; and by six siblings. Surviving are four children, John Henry Marshall, Jr. (wife Tammy), Cindy Marshall Ingram (husband Steve), Scott Wayne Marshall, and Justin Scott Marshall (fiancée Tina Coffey), all of Staunton; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 at the home of granddaughter Lisa Reynolds, 40 Riverside Ave., Verona. Friends may call at other times at the home of Cindy and Steve Ingram.
