Barbara Bragg Obituary
Barbara Ann Bragg, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Calveria Living at Fishersville. She was born July 2, 1936 in Waynesboro, daughter of the late Charles R. Forbus and the late Leona B. Forbus.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett M. Bragg; her sons, C. R. Farrar, Mike Farrar and Steven Neil Simmons; her sister, Alberta Marshall and her brother, Donald Forbus.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Bland Farrar (Rema) and Don Simmons (Mary), her daughter, Barbara Zimmerman (Acey) and Barbara’s brother, Harold Forbus. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of Calveria Living at Fishersville, for their care and friendship over the years; they brought love and laughter to her life. Also, a special thanks to Kim Lowry and the staff of Augusta Health - Hospice of the Shenandoah for their kindness and compassion shown to Mom and our family. We will be forever grateful to you all.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, August 14, 2026 at Augusta Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro, conducted by Pastor Herb Zabel of West Waynesboro Church of Christ. Friends and family are asked to assemble at the cemetery for the service.
