Lekisha Antwi

LeKisha N. Antwi, 45, of Fishersville, VA, departed this life on Saturday, July 25,2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on November 23,1980, to the late Katherine E. Durrette Winston Carter. LeKisha was preceded in death by her beloved mother, and her loving sister, Robin Brown. The memories and the love they shared will forever remain part of her story.

LeKisha graduated from Waynesboro High School in 1998 and attended Norfolk State University.

LeKisha, was a devoted mother, loving sister and cherished friends to many. She had a kind heart, a beautiful spirit and smile that could brighten up any room. She touched countless lives with her love, strength, and compassion.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Ikeyca White; sister, Litisha Cokley; her nieces: Emya Lee, Tre’Yonna Bourn ( Keirstin), Khadijah Brown; nephews: Ricardo Brown and Jayson Lee; great niece/nephew, Zen, Keirin; her two Godsons, Quuraan Harden and Sadeki Washington; her aunt and uncle, Dorthy Allen Lee ( Fay); her great Aunt, Margaret Turner; special cousins: Shales Turner, Patricia Flipping, Leslie Barbour, Stephen Lee , and Justin Lee; her dear friends: Tomeka, Sheka Howard, YaSheena Turner and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lekisha was the life of the party. Her love, laughter, strength and unforgettable spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated nurses at UVA Augusta Dialysis for 17 years. A celebration will be held at 3: 30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22,2026 at Basic City Park in Waynesboro, VA.
