John-Michael James Neff

John-Michael James Neff, 44, of the Leisure Point community in Woodstock, VA, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at his home. John-Michael was born in Winchester, VA on August 2, 1982, the son of Michael James Neff and the late Annette Joy Pugh Fogle. He was a 2000 graduate of Strasburg High School and a member of Walnut Springs Christian Church. John-Michael was employed as a manager at Italian Touch restaurant in Woodstock, VA. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping with family and friends, kayaking, fishing and disc golfing. Other hobbies included cooking, grilling and trying all the newest seasonings and rubs he could find. You could find him supporting his kids’ activities such as shooting team or surrounded by friends around a fire pit in his yard. John-Michael’s joy in life was spending time with his children, who were the center of his world, and he was theirs. They shared a bond that anyone could see and feel. He was a wonderful Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Grandson with a large extended family who loved him dearly. He was also a true friend to many. John-Michael is survived by his beloved children Unity Sky Love Neff, Xade Skyler Tree Neff, Story Skylan Rain Neff and Pax Skyon True Neff; his father and step-mother, Michael James Neff and Jeoranie “Jo” Ralls Neff; his sister, Nicole Neff; his brother Christian Neff and wife Kendall; nieces and nephews Rosemary Collins, Waylon Collins, Layton Waite, Keira Waite and Adalynn Neff; grandparents James F. “Jimmy” and Norma J. Neff, James A. and Lynda L. Ralls, Joan Herb and Jerry Viands. John-Michael is preceded in death by his mother Annette Joy Fogle (Pugh); his sister Michaelean Annette Neff; his maternal grandparents John C. and Kathleen L. Pugh. A celebration of life service for John-Michael will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Walnut Springs Christian Church in Strasburg, VA with Rev. Wendall Schurtz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 6-8pm.
