Eugene E. Lambert

Eugene Early Lambert, 93, of Stuarts Draft, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at River Edge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Waynesboro. He was born on May 10, 1933, in Waynesboro, to the late Frank Haller and Cora Marie Gentry Lambert. Eugene was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School in Fishersville and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Stuarts Draft. He was a local farmer for many years and passed on his wisdom and love of animals wherever he could. He is survived by his children, Darlene Wiseman (G.W.), Irvin Hamilton (Brenda Propst), Diane Grant, (Robin), Walter Hamilton (Kelly Hewitt), and Mark Hamilton; his grandchildren, Brianna Hamilton, Alyssa Hofmann (Christopher), Caitlin Zirkle (Seth), Jessica Grant, Matthew Grant, Amanda Curry (Brad), and Anthony Truslow; his great-grandchildren, Owen, Cason, and Hailey Curry; and his special nieces, Roxie Curtis (Mike), Jeanette Marion (Seth), and Becky Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Ann Argenbright Lambert; and his siblings, Franklin Lambert, Howard (Tip) Lambert & Mary Sue Marks. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Stuarts Draft with Pastor Adam Blagg officiating. Interment in the church cemetery will be private. Active pallbearers will be Seth Zirkle, Mike Curtis, Guy Brooks, Seth Marion, Blake Marion, and Matthew Grant. There will be no public viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist with Eugene's funeral expenses may be made to Henry Funeral Home (P.O.
