Kay Ann (Baker) Gibson

Kay Ann (Baker) Gibson, 83, of Grottoes, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

She was born on April 12, 1943, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Rowden) Baker.

Kay was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church.

She was united in marriage on Feb. 4, 1962, to Ralph Gibson, who survives.

Kay is survived by 3 children, Woody Gibson, Todd "Hooter" Gibson, and Barry Gibson; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Eddie and Chuck Baker

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church. A reception will follow at Grottoes Volunteer Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grottoes Volunteer Rescue Squad and/or the Grottoes Volunteer Fire Department.
