Kristina Megan Thomas-Wilfong, 45, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026. Born on February 26, 1981, in Waynesboro, she was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, partner, and child of Christ

Megan was preceded in death by her father, Keith Thomas, and brother, Matthew Thomas

She is survived by her mother, Deborah Kidd; sisters, Lori Sclater (Patrick) and

Julia Thomas (Walter Cummings); nieces: Isabel Metcalf , Marin Sclater, and Amelia Cummings; daughter, Lillian Biggs ( Jordan Biggs); son, Nate Wilfong; granddaughters, Leia and Ella Biggs; father to her kids, Chad Wilfong;

life partner/caretaker, David Thompson.

Megan was known for her kind and compassionate nature, always ready to lend a helping hand. A passionate writer, she was in the process of writing a book. Her love for makeup artistry was profound, often expressing her creativity through stunning transformations. She loved being silly, making others feel good, listening to music, and had an extensive habit for shopping/researching make-up online. A massive fan of movies and music, she held a special admiration for Marilyn Monroe.

Megan openly shared her struggles with schizophrenia and anxiety, providing strength and encouragement to others. She always looked on the bright side, with positive feedback and kind words even throughout her more recent health struggles and multiple hospital stays these past two years. Her devout faith was evident as she frequently read the Bible, maintaining a close relationship with God.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 5pm until 7pm at the home of Megan’s mother located at 65 Ridgeview Dr., Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
