Daniel Berlin Hevener "Danny" "Dawg" June 23, 1960 - June 19, 2026 Danny, beloved son, brother, Dad and friend went to be with Jesus on June 19th, 2026.
He was born on June 23rd, 1960 in Staunton Virginia, to the late, Dotty Tisdale and Charles Hevener and was preceded in death by his partner, Penny Rolon.
He is survived by his daughter, Alita (Brad), sister, Terry (Suzanne), brother, Timmy (Cassie), sister, Vivian "Sissy" (Barry), special cousin Debbie, aunt Joan and aunt Jean, his cousins and a dear friend, Cindy.
Danny's favorite pastime was riding his Harley with his buddies. Motorcycles were a big part of his life and he was happiest on his bike. He loved a good hotdog and a cold Dr. Pepper. Danny had a kind heart and was a good man, we will miss him so much.
He leaves behind many dear friends and neighbors that loved him like a brother and we give our love and thanks to all of you who supported him and offered a helping hand.
Rest in peace dear brother, we love you and will miss you always… A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
We would like to extend a great big special thank you to Dr. Christopher Heck and the most wonderful, loving, caring and supportive staff ever at the Shenandoah House, Hospice of the Shenandoah. They took such a tender, thoughtful approach when caring for dear Danny. We will be forever grateful for their genuine care, and compassion for his comfort and for us, his family.
Also, we are so grateful for the volunteer staff managing the gardens, it is a place of serenity, a little slice of heaven. The beauty brought us comfort and helped more than you will ever know.
