Joyce A. Cook

Joyce Ann Cook, 85, of Staunton and formerly of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Augusta Health in Fishersville. She was born on August 17, 1940, in Franklin, New Hampshire, to the late Forrest and Ema Mae Spurgin Cook. Joyce worked as an accountant for the Appalachian Power Company in Roanoke for more than thirty-five years. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed working in her flower gardens and spending time outdoors. She also had a special love for animals. She is survived by her sister, Linda Mae Cook; and her nephew, Michael Cook and his wife, Acey, and their children, Whitney and Ryan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Forrest “Pete” Dale Cook. At this time there are no services to announce. Henry Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
