Lina Ann (Robertson) HarperLina Ann (Robertson) Harper, 89, wife of Robert “Bob” Eugene Harper of Fishersville, Virginia passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at English Meadows in Fishersville where she was making her home. Mrs. Harper was born in Craigsville, Virginia on March 31, 1937, a daughter of the late Haskel Cleveland Robertson and Mary Aline (Doyle) Robertson. Lina was an active member of Fishersville United Methodist Church where she served with Kinder Care and Meals on Wheels. Her favorite hobby was to be outside working in her flower gardens. In addition to her parents, Lina was preceded in death by four brothers, Burnett Robertson, Donald Robertson, Kenneth Robertson and Larry Robertson; and four sisters, Betty Hammer, Beatrice Welcher, Stella Glover and Pluma Wilkerson. Lina was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving in addition to her husband of sixty-nine years is her son, Phillip N. Harper of Barren Ridge; a daughter, Stacey Ann Hayes (Darrell) of Staunton; and a number of nieces and nephews. And sadly, she leaves behind her friends, old and new, as well as all of the dedicated and caring staff at the English Meadows. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Fishersville United Methodist Church by Pastors Peter Choi and Gene Williams. Family will receive friends following the service. Bural will be private in the church cemetery.
