Julia Lynn Southers

Julia Lynn Southers, 50, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

She was born on June 25, 1975, and was a daughter of Edward and Dorothy "Dottie" (Lemon) Burriss, of Briery Branch.

Julia is survived by three children, Dustin Southers, Megan (Barry) Gross and Karson (Kailee) Southers; brother, Jonathon (Tina) Burriss; sister, Melissa (Bobby) Baker; four grandchildren, Madilynn Southers, Myleigh Southers, Alayna Gross, and Samuel Gross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Burriss.

A memorial service will be will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Billy Curry officiating.
