Catherine “Cathy” Paula Bernoski Judge, 78, passed into God’s loving arms on Monday, May 19, 2026, at River Edge Rehabilitation and Nursing in Waynesboro, with her loving husband, Don holding each other, and accompanied with her loving sisters. Catherine “Cathy” Paula Bernoski Judge, 78, passed into God’s loving arms on Monday, May 19, 2026, at River Edge Rehabilitation and Nursing in Waynesboro, with her loving husband, Don holding each other, and accompanied with her loving sisters. Cathy was born on June 29, 1947, in Kingston, Pennsylvania to the late Peter and Catherine Bernoski. Don and Cathy were married on June 21, 1975, after a courtship that began in 1968 while Don was serving in various distant law enforcement assignments. Together, they were married for over fifty years, celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on June 21, 2025. Cathy graduated from the former West Side Catholic High School in 1965. Following high school, she attended Wilkes-Barre Business College and King's College, both located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. After completing her education, she worked for seven years in data operations with the Social Security Administration before marrying Don. Throughout her life, Cathy also served in administrative positions with the U.S. Navy in Colts Neck and Lakehurst, New Jersey. She was a proud life member of the Navy League of the United States. In addition to her loving husband, Don, she is survived by her sisters, Frances Kauffman and her husband, Thomas, and Patricia Ann Bernoski and Alice L. Bernoski Sawchak both of Hanover Township, Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. A Requiem Mass will be held at Saint Ignatius Loyola Parish in Kingston, Pennsylvania. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
