Terry Lynn Milstead Cardoso

Terry Lynn Milstead Cardoso, 65, of Bridgewater, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on November 3, 1960 and was a daughter of the late Richard Milstead and Dorothy (Nichols) Curry.

Terry had worked at Wampler Foods and the Bridgewater Home. She attended Grace Covenant Church.

Terry was united in marriage Prodigio Garcia "Johnny" Cardoso, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Wendell Milstead, and Johnny Cardoso; significant other, Michael Dunford; brothers, Mark Milstead and Richard Milstead; and her grandson, Johnny Cardoso, Jr.

A graveside service celebrating Terry's life will be held on May 22, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnson Funeral & Cremation Service, PO Box 41, Bridgewater, VA 22812, to assist with funeral expenses.
